The Four Landscape Studio team worked together with the staff and students of Guildford Grammar Preparatory School and Christou Design Group to develop a modern, nature-based play and education landscape for the school. The resulting landscape promotes external activity, climbing and imaginative play, whilst integrating existing site vegetation and ecological systems.

The design for the new school landscape included the integration of existing site features. The pond at the heart of the school campus now provides education opportunities by way of measuring and calculating volumes, flows and areas, while a storm water retention basin provides a site for students to undertake studies about the environment.

Other highlights include a shady, outdoor amphitheatre that allows for whole year group congregation and a flowering tree maze that provides a delightful transition between the play spaces and the main courtyard of the school.
